LOCAL IS BETTER!!Head's up, Kats & Kittens!! The Chattanooga Market begins its 9th season this Sunday, April 26. There are a record number of vendors and the layout has been modified to accomodate the influx of wares.
Make a NOTE that the HOURS have CHANGED: the new hours for the Chattanooga Market are 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. EDT. In our history with the Market, a lot of people would start coming through before noon anyway, so now we will all be set up and ready to rumble!
The 'no critters allowed' rule continues to be in effect, so save yourself the embarassment and either leave 'em home or keep them somewhere safe while you stroll through. You will be pleased to know, however, that there are 2 dog-friendly days scheduled for the 2009 season. One will be the July 26 Bone Appetit Dog Day and the other will be the October 4 McKamey's Animal Friends Day. I am a hard-core dog lover, but I know the issues that were caused by irresponsible owners. Just be glad that there are 2 puppy-positive days this year instead of just one. If I can remember, I will bring treats for well-behaved dogs.
Another first this year is the Chattanooga Market Platinum Visa. it is a no-fee card and there are 5 market photos from which to choose. We are very proud to have Possum Creek Herb Farm potpourri as one of the five photos!
Check it out:

The dirt has been flying since last September and are ready to bring you the best organically-grown herbs we have to offer. We will have over 40 different herb varieties plus a selection of natives and perennials. In addition, we will have a small selection of soap and copies of our cook booklet, A Taste of Herbs.

Our booth will be front and center - G36 on the vendor map. Please come by and see us to pick up your herbs for the season. Due to a good wholesale/mailorder response, quantities are limited on some herbs, so don't delay!!
We'll be looking for you Sunday and remember:
LOCAL IS BETTER!!
